Why Join?

Dear Member or Potential Member:

Whether you are currently a member and have come to this page to renew or you are contemplating membership, you are at the right place! There has never been as exciting and as rewarding a time to join the Jacksonville Claims Association than now.

There are a lot of great opportunities that await you as a member. One of the most exciting new benefits your Board of Directors approved last year is the offering of accredited continuing education credits that are now required by State licensing. JCA in partnership with PCCP and WCCP always provide our members with approved accredited courses and instructors. The credits that you earn through JCA are reported directly to the State for you. The CEU’s are being offered at most of our monthly meetings this year. Check the Meeting Schedule under the Monthly Meeting tab of this web site. As long as you make your meeting and dinner reservation on the web site, stay for the entire course, sign-in and out on the CEU Participant Register that is circulated and pay for dinner there is no charge for the CEU’s! What a deal!

There are also some really great golf and social outings planned this year and members will get special pricing. Plus included with your individual paid membership you will get your own personal copy of the Jacksonville Claims Association Annual Resource Guide at no additional charge. Everyone is always anxious to get the new edition that comes out in the Fall. Every Guide is improved and packed with more material than the preceding issue.

Many of our members tell me the value of membership is in the networking. What ever the reason, whether you are a seasoned veteran or the new kid on the block, JCA is the place to be. And we welcome you.

Membership is open to individuals who are engaged as claims adjusters, supervisors, examiners, managers and defense attorneys directly involved in the investigation, handling, negotiation and settlement of insurance claims.

Sponsor membership is open to individuals who perform a majority of their professional services for insurance companies and those firms that are self-insured.

Membership dues are $25 per year for members, $50 per year for sponsor members, payable April 1 of each year.
A corporate membership is $125 per year and a corporate sponsor membership is $250. Corporate applications are available upon written request to the Membership Committee and are available in cases where a single employer has a minimum of five individual members.

Sincerely,

John O’Dell, Membership Committee Chairman
